Here's how my customized program works: Initial Dialogue (45 min. phone call) 1) We talk about general trends/needs/areas for staff development at your site. 2) We talk about what your ideal scenario would look like- if you could add one skill set to your staff, what would that look like? 3) We decide on # of days & # of sessions. I am there to observe, have conversations, answer questions, etc. throughout my time at your site and will share what I'm hearing & noticing. Homework (30 min. on your own) 4) I send you a short questionnaire based on our conversation to get more information. (30 min.) and I work on a training plan to achieve identified outcomes. 5) We send each other those documents, offer feedback, ask questions & revise as needed. Customizing (30-45 min. phone call) 6) 3-4 weeks prior- we have another call to talk about how your current staff & staff dynamics will respond to our training plan and make adjustments as needed (30-45 min.) 7) I'll touch base the week before (5-10 min.) in case anything has arisen. Facilitation (60-150 min. sessions) 8) I can be at your site for 2-5 days, depending on your schedule & what you think works best. Sessions of 1-2 hours are spaced out so your staff can apply the skills to their work. 9) We need 15 min. daily to share your feedback & information so I can continue to customize.Follow-up (ongoing, as needed) 10) In addition to our "briefs" during my stay, I will type up notes and send them to you, along with any ideas or recommendations that might help you in working with your staff. I will share my contact info with your staff & am "on call" to help you & them after my departure. As customized materials are created for you, they will be added to this page via a secure link below. You will be given an access password and asked to log in. This will allow you to view your organization's training and program materials. When you open these materials, please add comments, additions, or changes necessary. I am then alerted via email that you have edited the site, and will respond promptly to your comments.
